In 2022, I was chosen to read at The Wheeler Centre’s “The Next Big Thing” showcase. My essay “Naked Under Leather” was shortlisted for the Kill Your Darlings Creative Non-Fiction Essay Prize.

In 2023, I travelled to Tongva and Kizh land (Los Angeles, USA) to undertake research for my first novel. I worked on this project as a 2023 Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow.
